Introduction: This research aimed to design and standardize the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence assessment questionnaire in Iranian society. Methods: The current research method was a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods with an exploratory design – an instrument development model. In the qualitative stage, after conducting 12 semi-structured interviews, related categories were collected and after checking the face and content validity, a 36-item questionnaire was designed. In the quantitative stage, the validity and reliability of the researcher-made questionnaire were examined. The statistical sample consisted of 808 teenagers from five provinces of the country who were selected by the multi-stage cluster sampling method and all the subjects completed the questionnaire. To determine the concurrent validity, the KTK3+ motor competence standard test was used, and to check the temporal reliability and consistency, test-retest and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were used. Results: Through exploratory factor analysis, five factors of physical fitness factors related to health and skill, perceptual ability, non-verbal communication, enjoyment and participation in various physical activities, and learning and experience of motor skills were identified and these five factors explained 51% of the total variance. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis showed that the goodness of fit index and the comparative fit index was higher than 0.90. In concurrent validity, the correlation between the scores of the two tests was 0.51 and Cronbach's alpha coefficients (0.89) and intra-class correlation (0.87) were also obtained. Conclusion: In general, it can be concluded that the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence questionnaire has a suitable and acceptable validity and reliability, and by using this questionnaire, the assessment of the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence of teenagers is possible.

Introduction: The present study aimed to develop a model of the relationship between trait anxiety and the components of attentional styles in athlete students. Methods: The current research strategy was descriptive and correlational, with the approach of developing a correlational model. In three stages, the attentional styles questionnaire was translated into Persian and was evaluated psychometrically. Its process consisted of the French version translation into Persian, re-translation into French, and the final translation. In this study, 245 athletes were selected conveniently from the student population of Shahid Beheshti University. Participants completed attentional styles and trait anxiety questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).Results: Cronbach's alpha coefficient for two factors of top-down and bottom-up attention was 0.70 and 0.72, respectively. The confirmatory factor analysis results showed that the factor loadings of five items (items 2 and 4 of the top-down attention factor, and items 3, 8, and 9 of the bottom-up attention factor) were less than 0.4, so they were removed. SEM results showed that trait anxiety has an inverse and significant relationship with top-down attention and a direct and significant relationship with bottom-up attention. Conclusion: The results of the present study highlighted the importance and necessity of paying attention to the relationship between trait anxiety and the components of attentional styles in athletes. Therefore, in planning training programs and improving sports performance, taking this relationship into account can be an effective step in preventing adverse outcomes in sports competitions.

The purpose of current study was to muscle efficiency changes during successful and unsuccessful trials in elite pistol shooters with role of quiet eye meditation. In causal comparative study, 20 elite male pistol shooters selected for this study with age range 20-30 years old. After five trials familiarization, participants performed 20 trials to target with available standard. Scores of ten were considered successful, and scores of less than ten were considered unsuccessful. Data were analyzed using paired t-test and Bootstrap. The results indicated that there was significant difference between biceps and triceps muscle activity in successful and unsuccessful trials, and participants had lower muscle activity in successful trials than unsuccessful trials. Also, Bootstrap results revealed that the quiet eye period mediates biceps and triceps muscle activity in successful and unsuccessful trials. Overall, the results of current study confirmed postural stability hypothesis that this is the determining factor during this period is an increase in postural stability, which leads to a reduction in "noise" in the motor system.Shooting skills with high perceptual / cognitive requirements and low mobility needs and is one of the sports that is highly dependent on the performance of the visual system, because target identification and tracking is largely dependent on the performance of the visual system. In the present study, the researcher intends to investigate the muscular efficiency and mediating role of the length of the stationary eye period in the electrical activity of biceps and triceps of skilled pistol shooters in successful and unsuccessful attempts.

Children with intellectual disability experience many problems in theireveryday lives and educational issues. One of these important issues exists invisual perception. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to examine theeffect of sport vision training on visual perception of children withintellectual disability in Isfahan city. 30 children were selected fromeducable students with intellectual disability (7-11 years old) as the sampleand were randomly assigned to two groups (each group 15 subjects):experimental and control. Before the training, children with intellectualdisability underwent Wechsler IQ test and educable children entered thestudy. Also, before the training, the TVPS - II visual perception pretest wasadministered. Then, experimental group had their training for 8 weeks, 3sessions per week and 45 minutes each session. In the final stage, TVPS - IIvisual perception pretest was conducted. Based on the results of theMANCOVA analysis (with the control of pretest scores) sport visiontraining had an effect on the mean of all visual perception componentsexcept for form constancy test in the posttest (P<0.05). The results of thisstudy showed that sport vision training can improve the visual perception ofchildren with intellectual disability. Therefore, it is suggested that sportvision training is also used to treat and rehabilitate these children in thetreatment process.
