In most people getting old is associated with a decrease in both cognitive and motor functions. One of these functions that get affected is reaction time. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of neurofeedback training protocol variation on the reaction time of elderly people, Which is based on the principle of specificity of training. For this purpose ,Forty elderly participants between the ages of 65 to 70 years were selected and assigned to one of the for groups of experimental groups: 1) neurofeedback at Cz and beta wave, fixed frequency, fixed training arrangement, 2) neurofeedback at Cz and beta wave, fixed frequency, variable training arrangement 3) Neurofeedback at Cz and beta wave, variable frequency, fixed training arrangement, 4) Neurofeedback at Cz and beta wave, variable frequency, variable training arrangement) and 5) control (sham). All groups participated in simple reaction time tests for pre-test and post-test. The analysis of covariance showed that neurofeedback interventions had a significant effect on the reaction time of elderly people (p <0.05) and the frequency and the group with variable training arrangement had the best performance compared to the other groups (p <0.05). According to these results neurofeedback, training affects improving the reaction time of the elderly people and these interventions should be designed based on the principle of specificity of training.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of fine motor skills on stereotyped movements of children with autism aged 7 to 15 years in Khomein in 1399. In this quasi-experimental study, 20 children with autism were selected by available sampling method from Khomein Sustained Autism Rehabilitation Center. Then the subjects were randomly divided into two control groups (n = 10) with mean age (10 ± 16/3) and mean height (118 ± 42/23) and mean weight (42 ± 16/7) and experimental group (n = 10) With mean age (12 ± 79/2) and mean height (116 ± 67/34) and mean weight (38 ± 34/8). The experimental group received 15 sessions of 40 minutes (three sessions per week) of fine motor skills training, and the control group performed their daily activities during this period. Design and Effectiveness of Motor Therapy on Reading Problems in Students with Learning Disabilities Abstract The aim of the researches to Design and Effectiveness of Motor Therapy on Reading Problems in Students with Learning Disabilities.The aim of the researches to Design and Effectiveness of Motor Therapy on Reading Problems in Students with Learning Disabilities. Statistics of current study include all students referring to Centers of Learning Disorder in Shiraz during the 2014 academic year. Subjects consisted of 30 students with learning disability volunteered to participate in this study. Screening Test of Dyslexia Diagnosis Shafii & et al was administered as the pretest and posttest for the students with learning disability. The students received 14 sessions of training for motor therapy. The research questions are analyzed through variance of repeated measurements. The results show that motor therapy lead to improvements in reading problems of students with learning disabilities.Keywords: Motor Therapy, Reading Problems, Learning Disabilities

The purpose of this current study was to investigate the influence of perceptual-motor trainings on motor skills of girls with trainable mental retardation. so 20 girls with trainable mental retardation in the town of Marivan welfare organization with the average of 8/3 ±1/11 years and IQ of 39/14±6/84 with purposive sampling method were studied. All girls were pretested. Then samples based on sampling method divided into two 10 groups and considered as the control and experimental groups purposefully .In this research, for assessing the gross and fine motor skills we used sections of Bruininks _ oseretsky test . The experimental group did the perceptual-motor training for 24 sessions of practice, in a week .After 24 sessions of practice both groups were post‒test .In order to study the research hypothesis, nonparametric Wilcoxon and U Mann Whithney test were used. The results of the statistical tests showed significant difference on gross motor skills in training groups (p<0.05). while the impact of this training course on gross skills was not significant statistically. The findings showed that training program used in this current research is to improve the gross motor skills in girls with trainable mental retardation and can be useful
