Despite the potential of using virtual reality in the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy, few studies have been conducted in this area.The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of movement practices in virtual reality environment on range of motion in cerebral palsy children. Twenty children 7-12 years old with cerebral palsy were selected by a convenience sampling method. Participants were homogeneously placed in experimental and control groups based on the average scores. The experimental group performed bowling practice in virtual environment for 3 weeks, but the control group continued their traditional therapy program. Xbox device and universal goniometer were used as instruments. Multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) and Analyze of Covariance (ANCOVA) were used at p < 0.05 level. Based on MACNOVA test results, there was a significant difference between experimental and control groups at least in one dependent variable (shoulder, elbow, & wrist range of motion) (F = 96/43, p= 0/001). Based on the results of ANCOVA test, experimental group achieved higher averages in shoulder, elbow and wrist range of motion than control group. Virtual reality technology can be used as a treatment approach for improving upper extremity range of motion in children with hemiplegic cerebral Palsy.}, keywords = {range of motion,Cerebral palsy,Children,Virtual reality,hemiplegic}, title_fa = {تاثیر تمرینات حرکتی در محیط واقعیت مجازی بر دامنۀ حرکتی کودکان فلج مغزی}, abstract_fa = {هدف تحقیق حاضر تاثیر تمرینات حرکتی در محیط واقعیت مجازی بر دامنۀ حرکتی در کودکان فلج مغزی بود. 20 پسر فلج مغزی اسپاستیک با 7-12 ساله به صورت در دسترس انتخاب شدند و با توجه به میانگین نمرات کسب شده به طور همگن در دو گروه تجربی و کنترل قرار گرفتند. آزمودنی‌های گروه تجربی به مدت 3 هفته به انجام تمرینات بولینگ در محیط مجازی پرداختند اما گروه کنترل برنامه‌های درمانی معمول خود را ادامه دادند. ابزار بکار گرفته شده شامل دستگاه Xbox و گونیامتر یونیورسال بود. آزمون‌های تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیری و تحلیل کوواریانس تک متغیری در سطح 0/05= p اجرا شدند. بر اساس نتایج آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیری، بین کودکان فلج مغزی حاضر در گروه آزمایش و گروه کنترل حدأقل در یکی از متغیرهای وابسته (دامنة حرکتی شانه، آرنج و مچ) تفاوت معناداری وجود داشت(F=0/001=p، 96/46). بر اساس نتایج آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیری، با توجه به میانگین بالاتر دامنۀ حرکتی در کودکان فلج مغزی حاضر در گروه تجربی، تمرینات واقعیت مجازی سبب بهبود دامنۀ حرکتی مفاصل شانه، آرنج و مچ دست این کودکان در مقایسه با گروه کنترل شده بود. بر اساس نتایج آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس تک متغیری، آزمودنی‌های گروه تجربی در مرحلة پس‌آزمون میانگین بالاتری را در دامنة حرکتی مفاصل شانه، آرنج و مچ دست کسب کردند. استفاده از واقعیت مجازی می‌تواند به عنوان روش درمانی مناسب در بهبود دامنة حرکتی اندام فوقانی کودکان فلج مغزی همی‌پلاژی استفاده شود.}, keywords_fa = {دامنة حرکتی,فلج مغزی,کودکان,واقعیت مجازی,همی پلاژی}, url = {https://jsmdl.ut.ac.ir/article_87785.html}, eprint = {https://jsmdl.ut.ac.ir/article_87785_f3b0a09d67c77e3396165267f09775d6.pdf} }
