  • Use the American Psychological Association (APA) citation style for referencing. EndNote or Mendeley software can be used to increase productivity and convenience in this work.

Example of a citation for an article:

Buszard, T., Reid, M., Masters, R. S., & Farrow, D. (2016). Scaling tennis racquets during PE in primary school to enhance motor skill acquisition. Research quarterly for exercise and sport87(4), 414-420.

Example of a citation for a book:

Diaz-Rico, L. T. (2008). A course for teaching English learners. Boston, MA: Pearson.

  • To make it easier to write references, you can enter the title of the source used in Google Scholar. After seeing the title of the article and the abstract, click the word cite below it. That article is referenced in a variety of ways, and you choose APA.
  • At the end of the text, in the "References" section, in addition to English references, Persian references should also be given in English, and at the end of it, add (In Persian).
  • The in-text citation is also based on the APA style, and all names (only surnames) will be in Persian and accompanied by the year; Even the names of foreign authors (Andrew, 2002).
  • Do not use the words "et al." and "colleagues" for the in-text citation and write all the surnames of the authors and researchers unless there are more than 3 authors.
  • References should be added without numbers, arranged in English alphabetical order, and in the form of hyperlinks.
  • Guidelines for the description of correct in-text citations and the final reference list are attached.
  • Note: It is mandatory to use at least 70% of the sources from the articles of the last 10 years.

 Writing principles:

  • There is no need for a space before periods, commas, semicolons, colons, question marks, exclamation marks, etc.; but there should be a space after these signs.
  • When using parentheses, use a space before opening and after closing the parenthesis, the word inside the parenthesis will stick to the parenthesis without a space.
  • To write compound words or some verbs and similar words in Persian, use a half-space. To create a half-space in WORD software, you must use (CTRL + Shift + 2).

                                         انسان‎ها، می‎رود، تصمیم‎گیری، اندازه‎گیری، بهره‎مند، منطقه‎ای، همان‎گونه Such as:

می خواهم (incorrect) می‎خواهم (correct)  for example

  • Instead of using the sign (%) in the text, use the word percentage. For example 25 percent.
  • The words that have Tanvin must be written in the correct form. Such as: حتماً، الزاماً
  • Words that need Hamza to write must be observed. Such as: مؤثر، تأیید، تأثیر، مسأله، مسئولیت
  • According to the new instructions of the Persian Language and Literature Academy, avoid using (ه‌ی).
  • For foreign words and names, use the accepted Persian equivalents as much as possible. In the case of essential and uncommon foreign names or irregular Persian equivalents, only in the first referral and immediately after the expression of such words, state its English equivalent in the form of a footnote at the bottom of the same page.
  • To display mathematical formulas and relationships, use a two-column table with invisible lines according to the example below. In the right column of this table, write the relationship number, and in the left column, write the related relationship or formula. (It is mandatory to use Microsoft Equation to write formulas). If the formulas are prepared in a Word version 2007 environment, the submitted file should be saved with the *.docx extension to prevent the formulas from being converted into photos.
