Journal of Sports and Motor Development and Learning by  University of Tehran, with the former name of "Harakat" and with a scientific-research degree, has started its activities as a quarterly since 1999. After receiving a prestigious scientific rating from the Scientific Publications Commission on 2009-12-22, it continued its activities under the title of Journal of Motor Development and Learning, and then its name changed to the Journal of Sports and Motor Development and Learning. According to the letter of the Scientific Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, it has received a scientific-research degree and in the evaluation of the Scientific Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, it has received a B rank in 2021.Also, in 2020, in the latest evaluation of the Islamic World Science Citation (ISC) database, this publication received an impact factor of 0.081 and a Q3 rank.

  • Journal of Sports and Motor Development and Learning is published in Farsi language and with an English extended abstract and references written in English by the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Health of Tehran University and is an open-access quarterly journal.
  • This journal follows the principles and criteria of the Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE) in reviewing and publishing scientific articles.
  • All submitted articles are checked by the similarity detection system (Hamiyab Sinaweb) to ensure their authenticity.
  • In this publication, the peer review method (double-blind) is used to review articles.
  • According to the rules of open-access publications, all published articles in this journal are freely distributed on the journal's website.
  • According to the regulations of the Ministry of Science, the article submitting charge is 6,000,000 Rials, of which 2,000,000 Rials are charged for the refereeing of each article, and if the article is accepted, the 4,000,000 Rials are requested to pay by the author for article publishing charge.
