چکیده

تحقیق حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر موقعیت تحت فشار و دستورالعمل توجه بر عملکرد بازیکنان تنیس روی میز انجام گرفت. بدین منظور شانزده نفر از بازیکنان تنیس روی میز در چهار حالت با انواع متفاوت دستورالعمل توجه و موقعیت تحت فشار بررسی شدند. آزمون شامل یک تکلیف تنیس روی میز بود که در آن محل فرود ضربه براساس رنگ توپ از قبل مشخص بود و افراد می‌بایست ضربۀ تاپ اسپین را روی توپ‌هایی که با پیچ زیر و به‌وسیلۀ دستگاه ارسال می‌شد اجرا می‌کردند. دستورالعمل توجه افراد برحسب استفاده از نشانه‌های مرتبط و نامرتبط با تکلیف متفاوت بود و شرایط تحت فشار از طریق رتبه‌بندی و جایزۀ نقدی تغییر می‌کرد. عملکرد افراد از طریق سنجش دقت ضربات در اصابت به اهداف معین و زمان واکنش کلامی در پاسخ به دستورالعمل توجه مورد نظر، ارزیابی شد. به‌منظور تحلیل داده‌ها از تحلیل واریانس دوعاملی با اندازه‌های تکراری برای هر کدام از متغیر‌ها استفاده شد. نتایج حاکی از نبود تفاوت معنادار در عملکرد افراد در مراحل مختلف آزمون بود (5/0< P ). تنها تفاوت معنادار مشاهده‌شده در مراحل آزمون مربوط به اثر اصلی موقعیت تحت فشار بر زمان واکنش کلامی بود که با افزایش موقعیت تحت فشار، زمان واکنش کلامی افزایش می‌یافت (5/0> P ). به‌طور کلی یافته‌های تحقیق نشان داد که در موقعیت تحت فشار صرف‌نظر از نوع دستورالعمل توجه، کارایی عملکرد کاهش یافت.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of pressure and
attentional instruction on table tennis players' performance. For this purpose, 16
table tennis players were tested in 4 conditions with different attentional
instructions and pressure conditions. The test included a table tennis task: the ball
color signified the target where the ball had to be hit and the player had to perform
topspin drive against backspin balls that were thrown by the machine. Attentional
instructions were different in task-irrelevant and task-relevant cues. Pressure
conditions were manipulated through a competitive ranking and money prize.
Participants' performances were assessed through accuracy in hitting definite
targets and verbal reaction time to attentional instructions. Data were analyzed by
two-factorial ANOVA with repeated measures for each variable. The results
showed no significant difference in performance in different phases of the test
(P>0.5). The only significant difference was related to the main effect of pressure
on verbal reaction time, that is to say verbal reaction time increased under higher
pressure (P<0.5). In total, the results indicated that under pressure, regardless of
the type of attentional instruction, performance efficiency decreased.
